Tournament guide 2008

Millions of smokers throughout the world fear that that they will never be able to quit. That's because they're addicted to one of the most addictive substances on the planet: tobacco. Every year over 42 000 South Africans die of tobacco related diseases. That is why CANSA and Sanlam encourage all golfers to take part in the Sanlam Cancer Golf Challenge, a tournament that raises money for cancer prevention and patient care services. Just by taking part, you are helping in the fight against cancer.

The Cancer Challenge comprises three competitions:

• Club competitions (March - July 2008)
• Regional finals (August 2008)
• Final (24 and 25 October 2008)
